back in evanston, finally not living out of a suitcase! it's good to be in one place, combining my college & high school lives within my room, babysitting, seeing old friends...but it's all finally hitting me. the graduating. post-college life. aka "real life". it's enough to make me want to repeat the whole four years!
some bright spots - booked my round trip ticket to france...with a casual one day stop in ICELAND. i'll leave with MK from NYC on a redeye, spend the day in iceland's capital (probably pass out early or indulge in a lot of their famed cafés), and then fly the rest of the way to paris the next day! - chats with my sisters a few times a week - the french tutoring i'm doing for a family over the next couple weeks - the one and a half year old girl i'm babysitting - and reading for FUN! just finished peter mayle's "french lessons"...so well written! it made me want to follow in his footsteps, adventuring to food and wine festivals all around french countryside!
other than that, i'm waiting. for my work contract, to make my visa appointment, to see what comes next
